Russ Scudder, President

If there’s one thing Russell Scudder knows more than books, it’s business development. After graduating from St. Lawrence University with a degree in English literature, he went on to work for a number of companies, where he created innovative strategies and developed high performance structures that led to increased profits. He has held the titles of claims adjuster, regional sales manager, director of sales, project manager, general manager, chief operations officer, and loan originator.

Russ is also a great mentor and excels at building alliances based on integrity, trust, and excellent communication skills. He is a strong believer in team building, as well as training, and motivates those around him with his positive outlook. As a proven leader, he is able to quickly meet demands and adapt to any changing business expectations.

Outside of work, Russ enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, as well as time on the golf course.

Clint Blaylock, AAP, Vice President of Operations

With more than nine years experience in the banking industry, Clint Blaylock’s vision and expertise in ACH business operations has provided successful solutions for a broad range of companies.

As vice president of processing for ACH Commerce and ACH processing manager for MoneyGram, Blaylock focused on building efficient processes and product automation.
AAP certified since 2003, Blaylock is active in the ACH network governing body.

Clint loves the great outdoors, camping with his family, teeing off at local golf courses, and watching and participating in just about every sport imaginable.

Michael Clements, AAP, Vice President of Customer Relations

As an expert with ACH products, network rules, and authorization requirements, Michael Clements brings an added level of proficiency to ACH Federal and our clients. Clements has served in the banking industry for more than 11 years and has supported over 4000 corporations and 110 financial institutions.

In management positions at ACH Commerce and MoneyGram, Clements excelled in customer service and held numerous on-site training sessions for his clients to ensure their understanding of ACH product use.

AAP certified since 2002, Clements is active in the ACH network governing body.

Michael enjoys spending time outdoors playing golf and going to races. However, he’ll happily take advantage of all the sporting opportunities our area has to offer.

Kim Hawes, AAP, Vice President of Risk

Throughout her 20-year tenure in credit analysis and underwriting, Kim Hawes has worked seamlessly with clients to increase their production and income potential.

As vice president of risk at ACH Commerce, Hawes created a risk management program, which incorporated daily monitoring and strict analysis of processing activity and return trends for each client company.

AAP certified since 2005, Hawes is active in the ACH network governing body.

When she’s not indoors at the office, you’ll more than likely find Kim outdoors, relishing Mother Nature. She also enjoys socializing with friends over dinner, raiding flea markets, and goofing off with her Shih Tzu.

Frank Slugaski, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Early in his business career, Frank took a general manager position with Palmer Corporation, a company specializing in the distribution of electronic products and a franchisor of retail outlets. He expanded the company’s regional presence nationwide and became VP of Real Estate, Franchising and Business Development.

Prior to his arrival at ACH Federal, Frank was also VP of business development, marketing and product management at Blockbuster, VP of sales and marketing at UNAPIX, business development VP of TJV, Inc., and head of business development at Hire Aspirations.

Frank is an avid film buff and sports fan and is active in all sports. He is married with two daughters, Heather and Cara.
